The secret of Le Volume de Chanel lies in the combination of a wand and formula – such a duet should provide eyelashes with a volume enhancement. Chanel wand is made from discs that have the shape of snowflakes. The fluid formula was supposed to let you build up the make-up intensity gradually.
Chanel Mascara has been infused with waxes (which were to increase volume) and Acacia gum. The latter should be responsible for the quick drying of the mascara. The wand was supposed to curl the lashes whereas the Acacia gum – to set the curl. As much as the wand was appreciated, the reviews say that the fluid formula dries slowly, flakes and clumps lashes together. The Acacia gum may interact with other ingredients thus give poor effects.
Depending on your preferences, you can apply one or more coats of the mascara. Thanks to the flexible formula, your makeup should get bolder with next layers. Too bad, applying one coat of Chanel mascara makes your make-up routine longer so I guess few women are going to devote time to applying next ones.
